It's just a few more days until Spring...the perfect time for some easy Spring crafts!
Folk Art Enamel paints are perfect for painting on glass and ceramics. You can allow the paint to air dry for 21 days or dry for one hour and cure in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Plaid makes the perfect accessories for your enamel paint projects including peel and stick stencils and paint daubers.
The enamel paint is even clearly marked with an "E" on top to help you keep it separate from your other craft paints.
To make your own spring dry erase board just start with a picture frame. You can choose whatever style you like, just examine the back and make sure it has tabs that can be adjusted so that you can use the frame without any backing. (Or optionally you could line the frame with the colored paper of your choice.)
Although the daubers are meant to be used for stencils they're also perfect for making polka dots. Just dab off the extra paint and stamp!
Now just dab your dots to the back of the frame glass. You can try for an organized and uniform pattern of dots.
But your life (and your crafting) will be much easier if you just dab on your dots randomly here and there. Just keep dotting until you're happy with the results.
Allow to dry and hang-that's all you need to do for a custom spring dry erase board! Any dry erase marker will work well on both glass and acrylic. Leaving the back off of the frame allows your wall to show through and gives whatever you write a floating appearance.
