I Really, Really, Really Like Tea...

They say the first step is admitting you have a problem. So here I am, admitting I have a problem. I really like tea. I really, really, really like tea.

Tea is one of the few things that make me feel like I might be a slight hoarder. (Although I promise there's no need for a camera crew from A&E to show up. Yet.)

I like green tea, and herbal tea. I like iced tea and hot tea.

I like to Instagram pictures of my tea.

I like to add extra bags of tea to my tea. (And then I like to Instagram my tea again.)

I like tea with Truvia.

I like tea with honey.

I like to share my tea with others. (I took a box of Constant Comment into the office and it was cleared out in five minutes. My coworkers must really, really, really like tea, too.)

My tea addiction has gotten to a level where after some recent tweeting someone might have compared me to Ramona Flowers. And I'm OK with that.

Actually...I'm not sure really, really, really liking tea is a problem. I mean, as far as habits go it's pretty healthy. (Some teas are full of antioxidants, right?) I suppose the only danger with my extreme love of tea is getting hit on the head when I open my overstuffed cabinet door. (Which, I confess, has happened. More than once.) So no. I don't have a problem. I think really, really, really liking tea is just fine. I will own my tea addiction proudly.

  1. wait, so are you saying you like tea? I like your honey bear and will have to give that Constant Comment tea a try. Plus I think it's a travesty no bunny cup came home with you.

  2. I'm, you know...sort of fond of tea. It's no big deal. But...I should go back and get a bunny cup, right?
