A Mailbox Surprise From Cravebox

You know that feeling you get when you get an awesome surprise in the mail?

You know, sort of like that? I know that feeling. Anytime a package arrives it's like a mini Christmas for me. Even if I ordered it and know that it's coming, I have a total Pavlovian response of, "Squeeeee!" to a box on the doorstep. 

That's why I'm excited to try Cravebox. In some ways Cravebox is a lot like those other sampling programs out there-but at the same time it's totally different. (Have I confused you yet? Don't worry...stick with me...)

Cravebox has different themed boxes available. (So you're not just getting "a box of beauty samples" or whatever.) Crafts, books, healthy cooking, and the big game? That's crazy variety right there.

OK, so you're saying, "But what if I don't like to do crafts. I don't want some silly box of craft supplies that will collect dust!" Well, first of all...there is no such thing as a silly box of craft supplies. How could you even say that? All craft supplies are awesome. Second of all, if you don't want it, you won't get it. You simply enter the drawing for the boxes you want and ignore the ones you don't! 

And what's that about drawings? Well, it's simple. You look at the available boxes, decide what you want and you enter the drawing. (Don't worry, it's not like an elementary school raffle. Lots of people will get selected for the boxes. You have a good shot!) I decided to check out the Cooking Light Cravebox.

I'm trying my best to cook and eat healthy. At only $13 this box is certainly a reasonably priced fun experiment! I signed up for the Cravebox community, confirmed my email and then clicked to enter the drawing. I answered a few questions on a survey and entered my credit card information. And then came the hard part...

I could enter the drawing for $13...or...I could buy and guarantee my box for $16. I do know others who have gotten Craveboxes and they reported good luck in the drawings. And anyone who's been to Vegas with me could tell you I'm a gambler. I decided to enter the drawing. Now I just have to wait until February 4th to see if I'm getting my box! You can view my entire Cravebox adventure in my Google + Story. And check back next month.
