I have a 3M Mobile Projector that I use all of the time for work. As a matter of fact I use it so much for work that it stays in my desk most of the time. That means when I want to watch a movie at home I don't have it. When the 3M Streaming Projector came out I immediately wanted one. And it was a want. I was able to convince myself that the original mobile projector was a need because of work...but I just couldn't make the streaming projector a need. It's a solid want. And I wanted it badly.

I {Love} Flu Shots

I'm not quite crazy enough to think that my love letter to flu shots here is going to convince you to get one if you're not a fan. I know everyone has their own opinions on flu shots and some people won't agree with me. It's a personal choice. I respect that. Your body, your health, your decision. That said, I love flu shots. I really do. I get one every single year. Have I ever gotten the flu? Sure! Have I been healthier since I've started getting flu shots? Absolutely!

How do I know I'm  healthier? Well, it's pretty simple-I've been less sick. Back in my early twenties I was out on my own and no longer on my parent's health insurance. I needed to find a new doctor in my new network's plan. When I went for my first visit the doctor took a pretty extensive medical history. It included tales of my frequent bronchitis and one bout of pneumonia. Later she asked me if I had gotten my yearly flu shot. I said, "I never get flu shots." She looked at me and said, "Seriously? With your history of respiratory problems?" I had no issue with getting the shot. I just never really though about it. I agreed and got a flu shot that day.

Customer Service Win, Seasonal Avi Fail

My beloved dryer was making a noise. I had been ignoring it for a while but I realized I needed to go ahead and follow up on this while there was still a warranty in place. Things went remarkably well when I called to schedule my appointment for service.I even tweeted about it. Sadly the first repair was a bust. The technician didn't want to be there. He wasn't able to fix it. (And I tweeted about that, too.)

Halloween Unjunked

I love Halloween and all that it entails. (OK, I don't love haunted houses. Especially the ones where they try to grab you-I do not respond well to strangers grabbing me. But that's another story...) Halloween obviously means candy. And lots of it. I'm OK with that. I'm MORE than OK with that. I think a treat here and there is a good thing! 

Of course one thing we all know...there can be too much of a good thing. (Well, too much bad stuff in a good thing.) That's where Unreal Candy comes in. It starts with all of that good stuff you love about candy like chocolate, caramel, and peanuts.Then it takes all of that bad stuff out like corn syrup, preservatives, artificial colors and GMOs.

It's Halloween, Y'all!

It might only be October 2nd but I'm already two days late in putting up my Halloween decorations. Time to head into the attic! (That means this baby is about to go on display again...my most favorite holiday decoration ever!)

Cribs, Cribs, Everywhere...

So remember back in June when I wrote about receiving a crib and my plans for turning it into fabulous storage for my craft room? Well that didn't happen. At least not yet. I'm working on it. (And by working on it I mean that I bought a can of paint...)
Well last week I got a phone call from the same person who gave me that crib. She gave me three more. And promised at least one more before it's all done. Needless to say my garage is full of deconstructed crib parts. Obviously I need some ideas!
