I have a few things (thirteen, to be precise) that I want to accomplish in 2013. Just don't call them resolutions...
1. Learn to play the guitar.
2. Renew my passport.
3. Get more pedicures.
4. Learn to shoot in manual.
5. Bake a pie from scratch.
6. Finish my craft room.
7. Install new floors downstairs.
8. Plant something outside.
9. Read more books.
10. Publish more tutorials.
11. Master a new soup recipe.
12. Do my nails more often.
13. Paint the garage.
What do you have planned for 2013?

1. Teach Michael to play the guitar so he can strengthen his fingers. ;)
ReplyDelete2. I don't leave the house, let alone the country.
3. I pick my toenails while working late at night.
4. Get a new camera.
5. I hate pie.
6. Agreed.
7. We are in the middle of a laundry room makeover right now. Does that count?
8. Plant something outside that doesn't die.
9. hahahahaha
10. I should stop drinking and start being a mom.
11. Soup... meh.
12. hahahahaha
13. Put cabinets in the garage.
Your number 10 makes me all sadface. I thought you were doing a good job at both! :)
ReplyDeleteHave you teach me how to shoot in manual once you figure it out. ;)
ReplyDeleteI knew I was your friend for a good reason!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a busy year ahead of you. I'm excited about using a passport for the first time.
ReplyDeleteThe number one thing I want to do is flip the way I see things. My laptop died a few days ago and all I could think was, holy crap, look at all the money I have to put out for a new computer. But somehow I started thinking, I AM GETTING A NEW LAPTOP!!!!! I flipped my thinking and saw the happy side of a problematic situation. If I start thinking about things from this viewpoint, my life will be so much better. Happy New year Amy!!
ReplyDeleteOne of my biggest goals is to wear clothes at least twice per week. Like, outside the house clothes. And not just because I have somewhere to go. Getting dressed makes everything better! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean! I've been spoiled with having the last two weeks off from work. If I didn't have somewhere to go I never got dressed!
ReplyDeleteNow I feel like I have to really learn because you'll be asking me questions, won't you?
ReplyDeleteTravel is one of my favorite things...and I wish I did it more often!
ReplyDeleteI love that attitude! This past year sort of kicked and beat my inner Pollyanna down a few times but she's rising up in a big way for 2013! And yay for new laptops! You deserve a new laptop!
ReplyDeleteWell remember when I found out you could do that thing you do that I don't know how to do? History tends to repeat itself.
